Me neither! Isn't it just an abrieviated version of posting? Today's comics featured a funny in which the supervisor suggested that the carpenter quit Tweeting: "I hammered a nail." "I hammered another nail."

What is compelling about this Twittering? Why should I try it?

You should try it because one of our mods is trying to reach a goal. You don't have to tweet or post everyday, or ever at all. Just sign up and "follow" Miss Prissy.

It's absolutely awesome for folks like me. I moved 2000 miles a couple years back around the same time a lot of my other friends were undergoing massive life changes. We don't really have time for telephone calls or long emails, not to mention the time zone factors. But we still want to keep in touch with each other because we all still like each other, even if constant contact is a little difficult at this stage of our lives. Something like twitter is great for us, just post an occasion highlight so we know you are still alive and kicking and if anything majorly important is going on in your life.
