Anybody wanna do an easy sewing project for me?

We're repurposing my daughter's toddler-bed mattress as a dog bed, and I'd like something more substantial than a crib sheet to cover it with, but sewn just like a fitted sheet.

I don't sew at all, nor do I own a sewing machine, but I was kind of thinking I could find fabric--something like fleece--and send it to someone who sews?

Here's the mattress, with just a polarfleece throw tossed over it:

If you're crafty, I bet something like this would work.
No Sew Fleece Blanket

That would cover both sides, no sewing required, just some cut holes and ribbon/string/rope. It'd probably only cost $10 to make. And it'd be removable to wash.

Oh you could probably make a tie blanket for a cover too. Just use the pre-sticky velcro strips to close one side up instead of tying it together

Are you just wanting something like a huge pillow case to slide over the mattress so you can take it off and wash it? If so, I can make one for you and may even have some fleece big enough to cover it. Let me know and I'll look. Oh where in Arkansas are you? I'm in Corning!!! Thanks

I just happen to have a crib sheet pattern! I have sewn all my life. I make Show Clothes for people showing horses, I have made Dog Coats, Beds , Horse Sheets and Blankets.
