Anybody watching HBO"s Game of Thrones??

So I am totally HOOKED.

Caught an episode when we were out of town and had DH download all the back episodes.

2 episodes in realized it was based on a book series "SOng Of ICe and Fire" OMG went out and bought the book.

Finished first book was FANTASTIC

Just finished book 2 Clash of Kings and am getting book 3 soon.

I had read the whole wheel of time series and THIS series So far is SOOOOOO much better. Better written , so it doesn't drag!

So anybody else or am I alone? It has been okayed for 10 more episodes next season.

Thought based on this I might enjoy the The Tudors but no that one is a drag, even if loosly based on real history.

Yes, I am watching it, I think it is great! I didn't know it was based on a series of books either at first. I haven't read them, but hope to get them soon.

Well IF you are into epic stuff the books are very well written, though the series is doing a GREAT job of keeping to the book.

My DH says I keep a running commentary, this is JUST like the book, not quite like the book etc.
