Anyone around Concord NC want to order meat chickens

I would love to place an order but really kind of clueless. I am hoping there is someone out there who has done this before and knows a good hatchery and which birds to order.

HEY CACKLE!

There are a couple fellow Cabarrus Countians here, myself included.

I really am tempted to raise some meat chickens but not so thrilled about processing them. I've processed extra birds before, but only skinned and filleted - never scalded, plucked and gutted before.

Do you have butchering experience or know where we could get them processed? I'd be seriously tempted if we could work together on the butchering part...

No I have no butchering experience but plan on getting some. I am thinking that I want no more than 20 or 25 first go round. I would love to work with you to figure this out.

We are actually going to butcher the two extra roosters this weekend. I will let you know how it goes.
