anyone around me with bator???

    hi, I want to hatch some eggs but my hens only set when they want, not when I want LOL. Is there anyone in or around kalkaska, MI that would incubate about a duzzen chicken eggs for me? I can brood them, I just dont have a bator or the $$$ to buy one.

    Make one I did. Most of the stuff I had laying around the farm. The most important parts are the thermostat and humidity control.
    Forget the dimmer switch. It sucks. I ended up using a thermostat from my old electric frying pan. Worked like a charm, had a 82% hatch rate. Check out the ones on this site.
