I'm thinking about small troughs inside that are loaded on the outside. I've looked at a lot of coop designs and have not seen anything with feeders built in. Has anyone done this? Got any pics?

Use the search function - upper right-hand side- for feeders and waterers. You will find hundreds of different things these smart people have come up with.

I made a feeder that you load on the outside and the eat on the inside. It has really cut donw on wild brids eating the feed

I'm a copy cat- this design originalted from Mrs. AK-birdbrain

The hopper is in the feed room and the access is in the coop. Screw top keeps it clean and protects birds from invaders. White sewer pipe!

here is my homemade auto feeder... a 7.5 gallon bucket. That is a trash can lid threaded on the rope holding the bucket. The lid floats freely and keeps birds from perching on the feeder.
