I have to fly to Calfornia from Ohio next week to be with my mother who is seriously ill. All she wants to know is if I am bringing eggs.
Has anyone had any experience with this? Can I carry them on or is there a good way to pack them in my checkin luggage? I talked her out of flying my cats out for a visit. Thanks

I fly with eggs all the time, from CO to CA. I wrap the cartens in foil and put in a 2 gallon zip lock bag. They go in my carry on. When I get to the airport, I tell the TSA agents I have eggs in my bag, they are very careful and I have never had a problem.

I flew from VT to FL last December and brought 2 dozen with me in my small bag. No problems at all and the bag tucked nicely under the seat in front of me.
