Anyone Diagnosed with Plantar Fascitis by their Doctor?

Good idea! I'll have to try that!
I'm not "sure" if i have it or not... but i do knw that when i stand for any length of time, my heels ache soooo badly.
Soo maybe its just being fat...and not the planter fascitis...

I have one foot that is much worse than the other, my whole ankle is stiff pretty much no matter what I do. And the toes on that foot swell regularly at night (when I am on the computer)

I hate the tingles in that foot too...like your foot is half asleep most of the day.

I know what I did to aggravate it and flare it last week, I dug in the garden a bit. Nice and soft dirt and just a small area. But more than it can take.

Been a lot of years ago...bone spur etc.

steroid shots, wraps, had special orthotics made for my shoes. How in the crap could I stand them with so much pain?
Doctor put me on Relafen.

The wraps helped a lot ...up to 3 days after removed. Never used the orthotics. They were awful. Relafen helped some and still use it some for my knees, etc.

I forget all that was done.My job requires a lot of walking and on my feet. Could barely stand the pain .Was using a cane too.

Saw old time friend/nurse. Told me the only thing that helped her were Birkenstocks. Always thought they were the ugliest shoe made.

Out of desperation I got Birkenstocks. They were ugly but worked a miracle. Don't wear them anymore. Wear Crocs at home all the time. No more house slippers.

I do leg stretches when I lay on the couch. Point my toes forward and back often. Turn foot from left to right in a stretch and hold it a momet often. Rolled a tenis ball under my foot and sometimes a golf ball. I masaged my foot as best as I could trying to stretch the tendon etc. on the bottom of my foot. Feels and works better when someone else does it if you have someone. I didn't.

Love my crocs. Those little nubs help my feet after a long day. Can't beat them becuse of the mud and worse here. So easy to clean. Sometimes I step into the shower with them on as it help clean them.

About the point your toes forward stretch. I had a bad thick toenail on the same foot that had the heel spur. Doctor removed the tornail as it was thick and ingrown. Doctor said there would be no more problems with that toenail. It was gone. Yes but not forever as it grew back worse and more thick.
The tendon in that toe wants to shorten and not allow the big toe to stretch much.

I take an emory board and file it about every ten days. This gives me much more flexability in that toe and helps a lot.

Sorry for short sentances and bad sp. Late here. Sp. ck not responding. Hope I've given some ideals that can be used. Good luck and hope you have luck like me.

My feet are cuckoo anyway. Flat feet and have had 3 broken ankles. Last time didn't go to physical therapy as I knew all the moves and did them at home.Saved money.

I did when working in a job when always on my feet. It was very painful and I am glad it is gone now since not working on my feet like I was when it developed. I also had tennis elbow in both elbows eventually....but one was always worse then the other.

Both of these conditions are very painful and I was told to deal with it. That nothing could be done. I stopped doing that work and they all went away. I am very great-full now and don't miss that work.
