I have babies!!

Out of 12 eggs, 2 were duds and I got rid of them on Thursday. As of 8:30 pm, 9 had hatched (4 of them still wet) and 1 remained. We'll see if it's hatched in the morning. I'm so excited. This is our very first hatch, and the first time one of my girls has been broody! She's still a pullet, but did so well.

It looks like at least 3 are buff orpingtons, 1 is crossed between a buff and a black austrolorp, and 1 is a cross between a buff and speckled sussex. The last 4 were too wet to tell for sure, but look to be buffs.

I'll update again tomorrow after everyone is dry and fluffy!
