I'm going nuts!! I here another chick but I see no pips on any of the remaining 10 eggs. Should I remove the single chick after 24 hrs and put it in the brooder? I was hoping it would encourage the others.

Took advantage of a "no pips" moment and moved the 7 that hatched 24 hours ago to the brooder. They're all eating and drinking...appear very happy in the extra space!

There's 4 Silkies and 3 Frizzles in there.

still no visible pips...and I haven't heard and more peeping. I have one baby, which I think is a roo. Yesterday (day 21), my temps have gone down and my humidity has gone way up?!?! Do I still have hope? Hopefully that means someone has piped. The temp went down to about 98 and the humidity went up to 70%...should I be concerned? What do I do?????? HELP?

I am waiting on two to hatch. I am also on day 22. One has started breaking through, the other I am not sure about. The waiting is tough.

I had one baby die because he/she was facing the wrong side and only needed to spin around about 2 inches and its beak would have been at the air cell..

now I have another (my last one for this batch) that is 1/2 way zipped and starting to push the top off...

chicken stalker ;p :

I would say wait longer....the chick will be ok in there for another 24 hours. If you heard peeping they can do that without pipping a hole. They are probably still working on it and resting before working on getting out. Give it more time and they may surprise you. I don't think your humidity got too high and the lower temp didn't get too low.

I'm so sorry. My first baby just hatched out. I got it on video, and I was able to call my neighbor, who home schools her 7-year-old daughter, to come over and watch the hatch with me. Anika was so excited and thrilled to watch a chick hatch.

I am still worried about the other egg. Still no cracks. What do you do?
