anyone due on feb. 8th-13th??

shay20, they are so cute. I don't even know what day I'm on anymore. I know next Thursday is day 21. So what does today make, day 16. And I need to make something to put them in. OH my I'm going to be buzy.

I used a draw from an old barrow, put a light over it and just keep an eye on the heat. in a few days ill have to cageing over the top so they dont jump out on me they are already looking up like they want to escape.

Oh those are so darn cute! I can hardly wait.
I am on day 19 tomorrow. I am not turning them any more, did candle all of them this morning and all look fine.
Do you all close down the bator at day five or day three? I have the humidity up to 65 and the temp is holding steady at between 99.5 and 100.
I have a piece of aquarium tubing with a tiny funnel at the end that I can slip through the holes in the bator and add water that way so I won't have to open the bator.

Yeah I am about two weeks in with some incubating bantam leghorn eggs. First eggs this year to experiment with. I went and got them in the coop when it was below zero. At least 6 are developing. And I had the lt brown and white leghorns running together so it should be a nice mix I hope. A couple of Serama eggs, and one darker brown egg of unknown parentage at this time. Somebody cracked open somebody elses door and got in there and laid an egg in there.

Congratulations BockBock! I hope you get more today.
Gosh, everyone is getting pips and peeps and I still have nothing. I know I am rushing things as my first eggs are wyandottes so will probably go the full 21 days. That will be Tuesday night. I am hoping my bantams will be early so they will all hatch together. I set them two days later.
