anyone due on feb. 8th-13th??

How long has it been since the pip? Seems like a long time. I hope mine go faster because it will drive me crazy!

I think i noticed the pip around 1 or so yesterday, it is taking forever , when look at it i can see it moving its beek.

ummm yes to look at it , but not for long just like a second or two.

From everything I have heard you should not open the bator at all for three days before the hatch until they are finished. You let the humidity out and can get your chicks stuck in the shell. What is your humidity reading?

yeaaa dont know what the humidity is, i dont have one in there, i just make sure there is water at the bottom all the time, and i put a wet sponge in there last night to make sure it does not go to low beeecouuuse of me opening it.

Shay,
Don't open the bator any more. You really could kill your chicks trying to look at them. Even after the first ones hatch you can't open it because you can shrink wrap the remaining chicks in their membranes and they won't be able to hatch.

I have my first pip! (I can already tell that I will have a hard time sleeping tonight!)
