Currently training this muffin to do...well everythingDogs, dog training and sports, parrots, horses. But especially dogs![]()
Getting beaned with beans would make my dog stop barkingYeah she's definitely enjoying life. I don't think they were intentionally cruel... just ... negligent.
Thank you. When his barking gets out of hand, I use a shaker can. It's an empty water bottle with dry beans in it (just a handful). I shake it to make a noise. If he doesn't stop, I throw it at him. He's been beaned with it, but not intentionally, so he respects it. I threw it once and he kind of walked into it. I couldn't hit him on purpose if I tried, and I wouldn't! You can't aim these things, lol.![]()
Me too!I can talk all day about history...
Sent work for a Pyrenees? How is that coming? Mine can track people given a scent article. I thought about search and rescue for him, but he doesn’t really have the best temperament for it. He is very clingy and doesn’t like strangers. I also use him to find the eggs that the chickens have hidden in the yardCurrently training this muffin to do...well everythingspecifically agility, rally(we've already done shows in rally so I consider it her main sport), obedience, scent work, maybe CAT, therapy dog, and we are in lessons for CGC right now. Oh and I've thought about dock diving too. She's a busy girl and enjoys it View attachment 3949427
We've only done a couple sessions but it's going surprisingly well, we are working with oils. It's one of my newer ideas for herSent work for a Pyrenees? How is that coming? That’s cool!! When you say sessions, is it something you are doing by yourself or is it a group of people? The eggs are very helpful! I used to have one hen that absolutely refused to lay in the nest. It was hilarious though, because a couple of times he alerted to the garden bed. At first I was confused because I didn’t see any eggs, then I realized we had just put out crushed eggshellsWe've only done a couple sessions but it's going surprisingly well, we are working with oils. That's so cool he can track people! And the egg finding must be helpful![]()
