Anyone else an artist?

Gosh ~ I just found this forum. duh! I have been drawing since I was 6. I laid the pencils down for years but picked them back up in 2003. My first love is graphite, but I have also dabbled in pastels, acrylics, and colored pencils. A hobby I need to start devoting more time to. One day I'm going to try a chicken!

Here are a few of my works ~ a lot of them have gone to new homes and I didn't keep pictures of them.

Wonderful drawings!!!
My Granddaughter draws, she is 11. She has had no training, she just draws what is in her head. She likes to draw horses, wolves, and deer right now.
She gets better all the time. When she comes here for the summer, I bet she would love to get some tips from you.

I don't have any of her drawings uploaded on this computer, and my other one kinda crashed, so I can't get them online right now.

Anyway, your drawings are really great.

wow! those are great! i like the puppy. graphite is very fun to work with, but i do a lot more digital art now that i have a tablet. do you have a deviantart page? if not then you should!

i've been drawing since i could hold a marker! i am always trying to improve my art & style. i should dry some greyscale drawings! these are fantastic!

Katty ~ I belong to about 4 sites but have never joined devianart. We probably know some of the same people. I hang out mostly at WetCanvas. They have about 100 forums and sub-forums. They have a great Fantasy forum too. Love your blue dragon.

The puppy was O'Neill ~ a Great Dane who just passed March 20. He was around 150 lbs and twisted his stomach. He was only 5 ~ I drew this when he was 6 weeks old. He belonged to my step-daughter.

love that duckling... just precious! we all find our niche- i like painting best but do graphite and color pencil too... i have gradually discovered where i want to go with mine- but it took me a looonnng time...

Those are beautiful! I draw nothing but horses but never paint them, go figure. Animals are always my first though. Art comes second . Yeah the duck is my baby boy when he was 4 weeks old. Now he's the big 10!
