Anyone Else Back In School?

I finally finished my applications for vet schools. I'm hoping I will get in to at least one of them so I can start back in school next Fall. Now I'm just waiting for the people writing my letters of recommendation to finish those up. I think that's the most frustrating part of this whole process!

Lots of people in the medical industry. I commend you guys for sticking with it. That's not the easiest field ever.

I would never be able to do that. I took a website design class and everything I did looked the same. I was horrible at coding and could never read it. I have no idea how you can understand it all.

Hahaha. I've been coding since I was... 10 or 11 maybe? I think I just started young and that's why it's easier for me. But I definitely think being a CompSci major isn't for everyone. I have a lot of brilliant friends who've tried out programming and they all hated it or didn't get it. Just takes a certain kind of person I think. Generally if you think like a person when you program, you'll have a lot of difficulty.

Well, I've been in the education field for 13 years and decided to go back 2 years ago to get my degree. It has been one of the hardest challenges thus far since I work full time, I'm mom and wife full time. I still make time to go see my chickens every afternoon if only to sit and watch them fuss about who gets the feed first.

It will so worth all of it in the long run.

Props to you. It's difficult having to go back to school when you have so many other responsibilities. A lot of my friends moms and even my own mom have gone back to school. Now that their children have left the nest, they want to further their education! I think that's a great thing.
