anyone else bellydance?

My friend Pacita is a fusion dancer and teacher. She travels all over the East (and recently Gulf) Coast teaching and performing.

I took classes for about a year maybe 10 years ago. It's fun and definitely good exercise.

I just got a dvd for exercise to get rid of my rolls and now work took away my double shifts, I'll have time to get back in shape! When my kids were younger (now adults) we used to roll up the braided rug and shove the furniture out of the way, to do line dancing by tape I'll have to dig that out, too, this winter!

On the Fit channel they have a bellydance series. I have recorded it but we no longer have that dvr player so I lost it and now we no longer get statelight.

it was Shimmy. we still get that, and I sometimes do it...


I only practice when Hubby is at work and DS is at school. DD thinks Mommy's belly looks cool doing the undulations.

I don't know how though.
