There's a diet "fad" out called the P90 System. Is anyone else doing it? My fiance's family has lost 7 pounds over the last week. It takes out the one thing I can't live without...carbs.

This is going to be a REALLY rough week without my carbage...

There's SO much green food and I refuse to eat raw veggies (unless it's salad or spinach). Could you just "skip" on the veggies instead or eating them?

I'm not personally doing it but I know someone who lost 90 lbs using the system. If it calls for eating lots of raw veggies and you refuse to eat them, this may not be the right thing for you.

Unfortunately, it seems that all diets call for eating raw veggies. They're just healthy for you...but really gross to chew. I love steamed veggies though! Wonder if I could steam them instead of eating raw.

I eat steamed and raw veggies all the time and have not lost weight maybe cutting carbs would work but I'm just not up for it.

P90 - is that the P90x? I did just the exercise and ate moderately (didn't follow their plan at all) and lost quite a bit that way. My biggest complaint was that the videos were too long! If you did the whole thing like you were supposed to, they were close to 90 minutes most days and I don't have that kind of time to waste!

Regarding steamed versus raw veggies, I don't see why that would be a problem. The steamed veggies are a little easier to digest, so you might get a few more calories from them, but even those would be pretty nominal.

I only like, what I recently is called in English 'blanched' veggies. Any hard n crispy is just...ugh. I've been calling them boiled veggies. Actually, I only like cauliflower and broccoli...haven't upgraded to any others just yet...
If I do have to eat others, I mix it with a ton of other foods, like whole peas 1cm section with a big spoonful of meatloaf...lol.

Well today just sucked. I want carbs and I want them now. Today I was called by my mangers "unpleasant"....they laughed when I told them why.

Only good thing about this is that I can eat fish...just so freakin' hungry.
