Anyone else drive a Prius?

I just did a comparison of my gas expenses in 2011 with my Tacoma vs. with my Prius in 2012. In 2011, I spent a little over $2500. In 2012, that amount was $793!!!!!

That's a HUGE savings! I've gotten good a working the gauges and I'm averaging about 56 mpg. I do miss my truck heaps, but dang! I can't argue with this money savings.

Nope. I drive my paid for 12 year old Corolla that get me 33 mpg. No car payment makes up for a lotta gas!

I test drove one, but bought a Hyundai. I did like the Prius but there was no dickering on the price, the warranty was crap, and the price tag for replacement batteries was ridiculous. I get 38 mpg with the Hyundai, a 100,000 mile warranty, and a nice price tag. I really liked the Toyota Corolla but there was no dickering on the price.

However, I kept the Dodge Dually.

Hmm, the batteries last for 8-10 years and I had no problem haggling on the price. Guess it depends on when and where you get it.

I've always dickered on buying cars. Actually, I dicker on anything I buy unless from a store. Even then, I've on occasion talked them down on clothes or meat or something.
