Anyone else hatching Feb. 1st?

When I went out to check the setting hens after church, I looked at the eggs due to hatch and saw one in the front, one of the cross-breed eggs (of course!) had pipped. I checked about a hour later and could see some progress, but nothing broken through. After church tonight the chick had hatched. Here is a picture, although it was taken in the dark... I think the chick is half Rock of some sort... Plymouth or Barred and then 1/4 Cochin and 1/4 of whatever other Rock it isn't "half" of! LOL! It's from a neighbor's flock.

Well, i woke today to find one egg with the teeniest tiniest crack in the shape of x.
I had to rub my eyes and look again, but there it still was

I am so glad i dont have to work til noon on Tuesday!!!!!! I might get to see them all hatch

Baldie put her eggs i sent her in the same time i did, so i hope we both have some pictures to add the this thread

Well, he/she made a liar out of me........nothing since 9 am. That is a bantam ee, and the Daddy is a splash silkie. I have hatched them once before.....click on my web link and the first 3 pics on the page are mom, dad and the 3 babies. They are sooooo sweet.

my chicks are a day later then yours and only had one hatch out so far with the power outage was fraid none would.So will see what hatches out.Have cochins hatching out.

Today I'm up to 13 BR's, 1 unkown from dark egg, and 5 NHR's.

The NHR's seem to be hatching a day later then the BR's, I still have pipped eggs in the bator so I'm not done

I had 6 blue eggs but tossed them as none of them were fertile, that's what I really wanted to, lol.
