I think I'm done...I think. One egg left in the bator but I don't think it's gonna do anything. I got 29/33 eggs. My very first attempt at hatching.

Humidity ran around 40% for the first 18 days. Then 63-80% the last 5. I opened it numerous times, picked at shells. Did just about everything your not suppose to do

No curled toes, sticky birds, all alive eating & drinking. I got 17 BR's, 2 unknown, rest are NHR's. The two unknowns came from really dark eggs and the lady I got them from said they were Marans are Wyandottes. They are black so I'm gonna say Marans, lol.

Everyones little chicks look so precious. I just love this hatching thing if it wasn't so nerve racking. I got 15 more eggs going in today again.

I think I've created a monster with DH, some guy on craigslist has 25 chicks coming from McMurray and he needs to get rid of 10-15 and DH said we can put them in the brooder with the others and make another grow out pen

I told him we have enough of our own without taking someone elses, lol.

cute chicks everyone. I looked in the bator this morning and I have 4 pips!

I dropped one moving them in to the hatcher and it didn't make it.I hope I get some babies tonight.

Mine all hatched

The one still wet was getting tangled in the thermometer wire so i had to move it and took a quick pic. The 2 dark ones are silkies and the yellow is a silkieXee.
Now i cant wait to see how Baldies Hatch.

Here's my first baby!! I love her!! She is a silkie I hatched from Lurkys eggs. One down and 5 to go!! Come on babies!!
