Anyone else hatching Feb. 1st?

I know what you mean. I have 9 hatched and 1 in the process, and I need to move them out, but I hate to open the bator.

I have 36 Cuckoo and Blue Marans eggs due on Feb. 7th. I couldn't find anything that would candle the dark eggs until I happened to have a small flashlight called 'Streamlight Microstream' given to me. That little thing is SUPER bright. Its only about as big around as my finger and about 4 inches long. I can see pretty good through the dark eggs now. Karen

Thanks to Miss Prissy's instructions, my prissy-bator seems to work just fine:

I set 5 eggs, and so far have one hatch, one pip, and 3 nothings.

How long should I wait for the last three?

I should have a batch of bobwhite quail hatching out about then. Didn't want to do it, but one of my best broody hens decided it was time again to hole up in the nest box, so why not. She's a good mama and will take good care of them til spring hits in March.

Glad you got your incubator working right. I think you said you were due Friday the 28th. Today is Friday the 30th. Was it the 28th or was it Friday. Either way, I'd let them go 2 or 3 more days. You never can tell. Oh, and cute baby you got there. Congrats!! Hope you get a few more......
