Anyone else hatching Feb. 1st?

They are definitely getting air. But they both started hatching this morning, and they are not making much progress, and not moving a whole lot.

I have assisted before in that situation, but nobody can tell you when its time to help. Its a tough decision but you will know when you need to help. Since you have others needing the humidity, if you decide to help, plan well so you can maybe get them out and get the bator back up in humidity. But you will need to plan a good place to bring the ones you remove. I had one once that i helped and i realized after that the egg tooth had broken off. Thats why it was not making progress. Anyway, good luck with it, its going to be a long night

I'm sure they lose all track of things being stuck in the shell sooooo long. Then they are probably expecting it to be spring as that is the better time to hatch........they are going to think we are all nuts hatching in February

Yeah, BUT hatching now will lead to eggs in the late Spring!! So we are already ahead of the game!!

So happy for everyone who has pips this morning! It's amazing how much happens when we sleep. I woke up to 9 more chicks this morning. I need to go figure out who's who. I do know I have at least 2 BBS Orps. I'm so excited about that!
