You know, I really hadn't thought about what I'll do with them.

The Orps, I'm just getting started with, so I'm just trying to build my flock. I've got some from BamaChicken, Miss Prissy, and now Tuffoldhen. We started on the Orp Coop yesterday. My Orps from Bama and MP have outgrown their current accomodations, so they are getting their very own coop. The Sebrights and D'uccles just started laying recently, so I'm pretty much testing my eggs to make sure they are fertile, and so far so good. The RIRs and Dominiques, I want laying hens for those nice big eggs. And the Silkies, well, everyone just needs Silkies-right, cause they're just big balls of fluff!

Just yesterday my children saw pictures of silkies. They could not stop talking about them. They just kept saying "ahhhh how cute". Then of course they want to know if we can get silkies!

Well then Douglas, of course you have to get Silkies. Everyone needs at least one-especially if you have kids
Here is my little one with some Silkies that hatched a couple of months ago. She just loves the Silkies.
