Anyone else hatching?

I couldn’t help myself and set some eggs earlier this month! I have a Hmong cockerel and had a fibro Egger cockerel. Hens were buff Brahma, blue Ameraucana, and Easter Egger ◡̈

I can’t help myself either, with hunting season coming on and me wanting to take vacations, I’m going to have to find someone to take care of all of this.
The cows I can put out rolls of hay and they will be good for a week or better, I like to change water on my quail everyday.

Oh I wish I had a big incubator. I got this one technically for my son so he had a cool learning experiment over the summer with the egg candling and then hatching. He was more excited than Christmas morning. Our bow season for deer and bear came in here over the weekend. So hopefully someone near me bag's them a big ol black bear who thinks my chicken house is a Pic o nice basket!

I hadn't check on the incubator for the past three days (it's in the back office), and just heard loud peeps as I walked past the door. I hurried in to find 3 very cold guinea keets, one partially out of the shell dead, and the rest of the eggs very cold. The thermostat sensor had came loose from the lid and was laying on the turner, and the thermometers were reading 69.8 and 70.0°F. Those poor babies! I'm so upset...

Oh no!!!!! I am sorry that happened. I would have cried and picked up the others and warmed them up. I will say I've never hatched any of those little guys out. Cute as a button.

First time hatcher going on lock down this Sunday. Barn yard mix joining mother in law's flock when they are ready to travel. out of 12, 8 were fertile but pretty sure I also have a quitter.

That's just like our incubator the little clear one. Although it only holds 12 eggs in the turner I ended up getting 17 random eggs and I've been turning by hand many times a day. Ours is due to start hatching around the 10th I'm so excited bc I honestly only know what 2 eggs are and those are the Turken or Naked Necks. I cannot see thru those eggs with any light I try to use but I know for a fact I have 12 good eggs 3 was maybe and my 2 turken eggs are unknown.

That’s awesome, hubby called me protective of the eggs today and I told him yes sir I am.. they are my children too
