Anyone else have Belgian Quail D'Anvers? (pics)

We had one for several years my daughter named her Rain because she was the color of a rain cloud. Sadly she died last year she was one of our favorite girls and she was very sweet.

We had two Quail d Anvers of different breedings.....first one was from Catalupa Farms and the other one was a crossing from show stock with McMurray's who I sold her to a little girl for a pet.

This one is Jenny...first d Anvers I got from Catalupa Farms...she was a sweetie and hubby's pet chicken. Sadly she passed away from breathing complications about four months after our coop got smoked out from a fallen heat lamp.

I have a pair of blue splash d'Anvers.. love the breed! Jane is the sweetest thing ever, acts like a little cat. My roo, Rocky, is terrific with the ladies, and seems to be a good protector.

She is beautiful! We went to a fair in the fall and I fell in love with D'Anvers Quail but I could not find any hatching eggs. They have such sweet little faces. Enjoy her you lucky girl!

I just got one from my neighbor who was done raising chickens she is my new fav
