I only had one more chick this morning. The other eggs still haven't shown any signs of hatching.
I've had three hatch altogether. The first one got crushed while it was pipping and smothered inside the shell. The next two hatch successfully on their own. I don't understand why the rest are taking so long to hatch? Should I be worried?
I started these eggs in the incubator and put them under a broody on day 18. Could there been enough of a temperature difference to delay some of the hatching, or am I worrying for no reason? Today would officially be day 21.
My 30 eggs are going on day 22 now. I set them on Feb. 1st 5pm and they are still just sitting there but do rock ever so slightly every once in a while.

That's good to hear that your's are going on day 22 as well. I did set them Feb 1st, but I don't remember what time of day. I've been getting worried because the last time I hatched, I had chicks on day 20 and they were all done hatching by day 21. Those were bantam eggs though and these are full-sized, actually really big eggs, so maybe they take longer?
I had one hatch yesterday morning and have 9 more under a broody hen. It's the end of day 22 but I'm not giving up hope. The one that hatched yesterday was from a black cochin bantam. The other 9 are from a Japanese Bantam.
My hen seems really picky about her eggs and has abandoned two previous clutches. The fact that she's still on them tells me she's not giving up hope either.
I don't know what to think. This is my second hatch and the first one they were all hatched and running around by now. I have only had one pip hours and hours ago and thats it. They were doing more rocking last night than they are now. I still hear one peeping really loud every so often. I am starting to loose hope that many if any are going to hatch....
