What will it monitor?I need to order parts for my pond monitoring system,
Temperature and pH, at least to start out with. What will it monitor?
You could throw a few goldfish in there. They will eat the mosquito larvae. With the algae and all you wouldn't have to feed them. I kept goldfish in my stock tanks. They thrived. Except for the time the automatic waterer malfunctioned, the water got low and the cow drank them.We have several small, artificial ponds. One's just an old bathtub. No fish. We are growing these:
Unfortunately not. I wouldn't have been able to do much other than monitor / log temperature and pH and while that would have been nice, the pH sensor would have required calibration and monitoring systems are most useful when they are also used to control things (lighting, chemical dosing, etc.) which is probably why they're less commonly used in ponds.@CarpCharacin did you ever get that monitoring system in?
