Come on, if it would get warmer, maybe my Christmas chicks could make it from a hatchery ( one of those year-round ones), to the North Pole (isn't it supposed to get into the teens there at the least?), to here, and hide in a deserted playroom for 4-5 weeks alive.
Winter is OK, it just lasts WAAAAY too long! I vote for month of December to be the extent of winter
We're expecting 8-10" of snow today, it's nice to look out and see snow falling on our Christmas cookie baking day. However, come January 1st I'm ready for spring to start. It would be really nice to be able to plant my garden and see flowers bloom a few months early!
spring..... I am ba humbug with this dark wet weather... I want broodies in my coup and sun on my little feathered beaks... I want no more frostbitten chickens.... This dark dank weather makes me blue... Early spring would be great!!
Ace of Blessings...We have a restaurant here in Riverside Missouri called Corner Cafe and their shirts say " Country cookin' makes ya good looking!" Maybe they would like to purchase some towels? LOL!
ETA: I AM SO READY FOR SPRING! Thats when DH says I can hatch more eggs! I bet he buys me an incubator soon...or builds me one!
