Anyone else struggling with Infertility?

Been having some cramps since the IUI. Had some spotting for 2 days after. She really poked around a bit.

Trying to stay stress free. It is HARD. We were supposed to close on our new house today. We have had a contract on it since Dec 30. This was our fourth closing date. We went sat at the table signed our lives away and were told that because certain repairs were not complete they could not close. GRR. The selling agent was supposed to fill some cracks in the walls and paint the areas with peeling paint. He did some of them but not enough. I don't know why FHA is so worried about cosmetic things but they are, or at least this inspector is. Her first inspection she didn't even notice that the A/C was missing but she noticed peeling paint and cracks. The concrete pad the a/c should have been on is clearly visible in one of her pictures. So we took the day off work and went and spackled the walls. We still have to sand and paint. We will be doing that Sunday. I told hubby might as well paint it in colors we want.

Aside from cramps, nothing going on. Going to get progesterone checked on Tuesday. That will be 7 days Post IUI. I'm not sure when I will start testing. Maybe on Day 10 or 11.

So how are you doing Red? I'm hoping those little embryos are sticking.

My DH is the negative one here. He is always bugging my to test. lol I don't like seeing the one lonely line. When day 10 comes, I might just keep putting it off for a day, until Aunt Flo is due and then test if she doesn't show up. LOL I'm bad about that. LOL But if I get any symptoms than I might be persuaded to test. The RE wants me to come in on day 14 post IUI for a pg test. I don't quite understand why I have to go 40 minutes from home just to pee on a stick and pay them my $40 copay.

Red- You are 5 days ahead of me so let me know when you get that +, then I'll test 5 days later. LOL

I am fertile, Nathan is not. He had a vasectomy 15 years ago, he has 4 kids. I have an add in the paper for a sperm donor, a reliable one who isn't a complete troll. i've gotten some horrified looks, some religious doofuses saying how immoral I am, UGH....................

I just want to give everyone some encouragement who is having a hard time conceiving. I have 3 boys, age 12, 9, and 1. Yes I said 1. We did not use any kind of contraception. We wanted the last child. It took us 8 years to have him. Sometimes good things take time. I will be sending good vibes to all of you ladies who want children. Good luck to all of you.

The house is closed! One big stress off my shoulders.

I had my progesterone checked today. It was 42. She said that means I had a good strong ovulation. They want me to come in next week for a pregnancy test. But I feel like I can do that at home. And without infertility coverage on my insurance I'll be paying an arm and a leg for it. Plus it is about 1.5 hour round trip ride. I also have to get up early and since I work 2nd shift it means I would only get about 5 hours of sleep. So I think I should just cancel that appointment.

They also want to set up a consultation to talk about my "next" cycle before knowing the results of this cycle. I think this cycle went great. I should have had 3 good size follicles when I ovulated. If there is a next cycle I want to do the same thing over. Also if there is a next cycle it won't be for a few months, cause I have to save up money. So I don't think I should worry about scheduling this until I'm close to being ready for my next cycle.

Do you guys see any flaws in my logic? I just feel like I'm getting nickled and dimed.

Don't worry about them wanting to set up a meeting about the next cycle, that's just doctors for you. My doc gave me enough provera for 6 cycles, and he said it's just so that if I need it I will have it, but he hopes we won't need it.

I really hope this is it for you!

I also would test at home... The home pregnancy tests that measure 25 HCG are Equate(walmart) early pregnancy test.... and also Answer early pregnancy test...i called them today to ask.. also..they have that new First Response test that you can test 6 days early.... I have read alot about those tests..they say that they are pretty good/accurate.
Alot of the other tests measure 50 and 100 HCG..so you dont want those for early testing..
Best Wishes!!!
