Anyone else using Southern States chick feed?

Used Southern States last summer for guinea keets and they smelled awful.... Using SS now for my new chicks and they kinda stink too..... Used Purina 2 years ago for raising chicks and they didn't stink..... Anyone else have this issue????

I'm using SS, but this is my first experience with chickens, I don't think they smell that bad.

The thing is... 2 years ago used Purina medicated starter=no smell...compared to SS=smell... is it me or the feed? same amount of chicks both times....
