Well, the eggs in the incubator finally hatched this week! Ended up with 20 out of 29 hatched - not bad. We got 8 Easter Eggers, 1 Olive Egger, 3 Delawares, and 8 Blue Barred Rocks which were won as a prize in the recent Easter Hatch-along. I posted more info and pictures of them and the hatch HERE. After the Rock chicks hatched, we gave them to Little Girl, another Broody Buff Orpington, and she adopted them with no problems. Here is a picture of her with a few of them...

The first little Blue Rock with a few of his Easter Egger hatch mates.

An ADORABLE pale Cream/Lavender Easter Egger chick from the same batch - we ended up with two that look identical to this, and their mother is a beautiful light lavender Easter Egger.
