First Time Broody Hen Hatch-Along

Came home at lunch today to one cute fluffy chick and then another three after work! Looks like one more egg pipped and the other two no action so far! Here are the chicks!

I've only had 1 successful broody hen hatch and raise her hens to adulthood. The other 3 or 4 that tried let their chicks get killed by the other hens.

good luck! Looking good so far! Ideally, IMO...this is the best way to raise a new batch of chicks. I wish all my hens would do this and be good mothers.

Yeah hopefully she is able to integrate them with my 3 other hens, hoping not to have to separate them!
