Rooster-Spur has a post with a red barred roo that is supposed to be a cross of a New Hampshire roo with a Dominique hen. I hatched a similarly colored roo from what I think was a Barred Rock roo with a RIR hen. So anyway I would like to produce somemore of these and I wanted to see if anyone else has done this cross before and if so what did you get? please post pics if you have any. I had already been thinking of useing a NHR roo with Barred hens to make Black SLs, but If the roos would be Red Barred instead of the grayish/ barred color that would be even better.
