Im new to owning chickens, and I go pick up my day olds next sunday. Any tips on this breed?
 
I have a couple of 5 week old Marans... They are in the ugly chickling stage right now, just partly feathered. One is Golden Cuckoo the other Silver Cuckoo.

I'm praying for pullets, but they are both looking rooish to me..
