I have an 8 week old Midnight Majesty Marans that was raised by one of my broody bantams. She is THE LOUDEST chick ever. She just yells, mostly in the evening at roosting time, but sometimes at random times during the day, and will only settle when I pick her up and cuddle her or she is cuddled under her adoptive momma’s wing on the roost.
Just curious if anyone else has any MMM and if they are as loud. She is otherwise totally healthy, eats well, feathered out nicely, and growing well. Here’s a pic of her yesterday on my shoulder, she was content here and not yelling. I think she just wants to be close to someone at all times. She is going to be a huge fluffball for sure.
