Anyone ever have eye "floaters"?

They are the closest I get to having a migraine aura. I don't always get them before a migraine, but I almost always get a migraine when I get them.

I have them too...like another poster said, mine are more like a thread under a microscope.

Loa loa filariasis. See an eye doctor; have him check it out.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Mine is mostly noticable in the sun too. I think maybe I'll invest in some better shades.

I do need to go to the eye doctor, time to get a new contact script anyway. I just hope because of the floater they don't say I have to take the glaucoma test (the air puff in the eye). I always refuse it, don't know why but I just can't do it!

Sounds like it probably doesn't have anything to do with glaucoma though...

Mine come and go. I've had them since the mid-80's. I've been to retinal specialists, etc. and have had courses of steroid drops in my eyes. I've been diagnosed with Pars Planeitis, which is a degenerative eye disease.
