Anyone ever shipped to Canada?

Has anyone here had to get a VS 17-6 form to get chicks through the border.

I am having an argument with my vet right now about it. They want me to pay additional money to have a health certificate done for my chickens on top of the form and on top of my NPIP paperwork..

Also how do you get a health certificate ready for chicks that are not hatched yet???

I would call the border.. we did that when we shipped a Shire stud down from canada.. they gave us the whole scoop
