Anyone ever use a duck wheelchair/hammock for injured feet?

So Floppy’s bones are getting thicker and stronger with the niacin. But she still kept them bowlegged under her so we’re starting to form mid-shapened.

Saw stuff on line where people made duck wheelchairs / hammocks for ducks with injured feet. Pvc pipe frames and something they lay in that let’s the leg dangle and heal up without weight on it

So we built one for Floppy and it works. But was wondering if anyone has ever built one, what do you use for them to lay on/be suspended by? We have been using old shirts and they work great. But the poop keeps collecting under her. So looking for ideas to give her the support but maybe keep the butt free for poop to go in the area we designated for it.

That looks great. Some use old towels and cut out the back so the poop goes to the ground and not on what she is laying on. Or you could put a puppy pee pad under her and just change it frequently.

Have a puppy pad under her but she wiggled around so much it comes loose. We have the backend backed into a Walmart bin on its side with pads under her to catch the poop. First one we did we cut and opening for the poop but she wiggled so much she wound up tearing the shit and I found her half way fallen through.

This way she’s more secure but the poop collects. May try the getting a towel and make something out of that .
