Anyone ever use Stalosan F

I've read about using this in coop substrate (in my case, construction sand) anyone else use this product? It is apparently harmless to people and animals. Anyone here use this for their chicken bedding? Here are the listed benefits:

Alot of my friends in the UK use it and they LOVE it. I didn't think it was available in the US though.

It IS, now and fairly recently got FDA approval for the U.S. It is available through this company online (I'll be ordering some - found them through a Google search) - http://www.cattlestore.com/pc-1438-75-vitfoss-stalosan-f.aspx

Would you use this product along WITH DE, or would that be overkill?

Will do! :0) I'm not sure what DE is,, but my plan was just to buy a 50lb sack and use it (in the proportions recommended by the manufacturer) in the construction sand in my run and bottom of my coop.

Oh,,, thanks!!! I think it is the active ingredient in Sweet PDZ, which I'm currently using in the chicken bedding.
