Ah, I see your point... It would be interesting to learn how Alli can help folks who are already on a low fat diet. It can truly be frustrating to diet and exercise and not see any results!!

It is a great motivator, I think. I would not take one at work, but I would take one when I got home, before we decided on dinner, so that I wouldn't partake of any high fat foods. I would say that yes, it did help me lose weight.

I know you've heard this over and over, and I for one never do it, but it's probably a good idea to check with your physician, if you haven't already. Just to get their opinion on if it's right for you.

doctors say lots of things are safe to take,,and then 3 years later it gets pulled off the market because people are keeling over with heart attacks and strokes..I agree with speckledhen,,ad a really good work out program and you will be much healthier,,to me its not about looking skinny,,its about being healthy..now if people want to use it go for it,,I just dont think putting junk in your body is the right way,,My friend was taking something for weight that works on the brain chemicals telling it it is not hungry,,the only thing I noticed with her is she really got nasty and her husband spent from sunup to midnight outside..lol

I asked (very, very clearly) for comments from people that had used it.

I am not interested in yet another sermon about evil doctors and evil medicines.

well then just use the stuff and dont ask at all..I am sure your doctor told you all the bad and good about it..BTW,,it wasnt a sermon, just friendly advice, put whatever you want into your body,,I dont care, and even you cannot denie the recalled drugs that had dire affects that where previously labeled "safe"

I'm interested in seeing what people who have taken say too. I've been interested but afraid to try it. I'm trying to stick to a low fat diet, due to blood fat issues, but it can be very hard. I've managed to lower my cholesterol and triglycerides, but would like to get rid of more weight too.

loriMN, stop preaching at me, yes, it is a sermon, it is the person on the receiving end who gets to decide if it's a sermon or not, not the preacher. I did not ask for your horror stories. As my mom would say, enough already.

ohhhhhKAY...anyone else USED Alli?
