I hope so!
The house on the left has NO backyard, the CA unit is the end of their property. And the house is up for sale as well, and no buyers yet because they wanted a backyard.
The house on the right, lived an elderly couple, lovely as they can be, have a backyard so they do not want any more land.
More and more of the houses here in Decatur are being bulldozed, and it is not unusual to find a single house on a vacant BLOCK....look all that land LOL! No one wants to buy the lots so the homeowners are having a field day buying lots in the hundreds of dollars rather than thousands of dollars. It occurs in more of the low income or poor neighborhoods. The low income families live about five blocks south...you can see the difference as night and day, separated by a four lane street, on one side, run down homes and across the street, nice, well maintained homes. See what i am getting at? Really strange LOL!
Where we live at is or what it used to be THE ELITE homes in town, the Elms, and little by little the homes are getting snapped up by younger families.
I do not have much hopes for this home to be renovated. It's too much. Now the question remains, how long before the city decided to bull doze it? We have three houses on our street up for sale.
