Had to transport a kid that had been in the pig wrestling and he was covered with bitinite (sp?) mud. We had him back boarded and everything.
Took us over an hour to get that mud off of the bench seat and gurney. We had a towel over the back board or we would have been there for another hour trying to hose that thing off.

At least she didn't say drop your pants with a shot in her hand!

Today she took out a box.......ugh, I wonder how many cockroaches will be in that box, waiting to infect her new residence.

If they were to tear down the house, I hope the bugs don't go flying to the next door neighbors houses......

Got some information from the neighbor....

He might have been dead for days when the mom didn't know, thought he was sleeping perhaps. (how can you NOT smell the body rotting?!) Well the stench was bad enough so what a dead body would be like with the cat urine and stuff like that? It probably masked it.

And his name was NOT on the obits and he had no visitation or funeral. Was served a pauper's grave.

No headstone, nothing. His mother could not afford anything. The city now owns the house. Slated for demonilation but it would take at least a year!

And she is going to have the dog put down, because it loses his bowel controls and a very very old cocker spaniel. Such a sweet dog but does not deserved a life like that. The neighbor said after we left to pick up DD from school, she picked the dog up and it was loaded with mats in the long hairs (bottom hairs of spaniel, however you do know the spaniel clipper cuts).

Neighbor said the city commissioner said, it was realllllly BAD in there and no amount of money will fix up the house. Water stains on wall for one!

It's so sad it has to come down like that, one day, everything will be gone and she does not have a place to stay. I know she is staying with friends but it will get old. And the poor dog, once he is put down, it will give her some room to breathe and not be burden with the apartment rules about not having pets.

In due time, I will go down to the courthouse and find out the cause of death but I am very certain it was his long time health problems he had with diabetes, heart problems and liver problems and possibly the damage from drug uses (legal RX and illegial as his past did, the cocaine and white rock packages he has been passing out often when he was up and around).

The house must be beyond awful!
It's sad that it ended for him the way it did but hopefully he is at peace. I wonder if the mother has other relatives that can help her.

He was known to deal drugs....still did for a long time ever since we moved in this house. In and out of jail a few times. I have NO idea if he had a job before but always on disability of some sort.

I know her mother was the original owner of the house, she passed away many years ago then this daughter (now the mother) got married, had a hubby, who he died some time ago, everything went downhill so was her two sons, one died many years as a young man, died suddenly and now this one. Death must have repaid her many times over and over. I have NO idea what she does for a living but I know she worked hard and long, many hours, hobbling along. She was depressed alot as well because it shows it in her dog and her hoarding problems.

So all of her kids has passed on, she has NO immediate family that we know of, just her friends.

You know Dh and I were talking about this the other day. He ha a half brother whose life was utterly without merit. We talked about the idea of leaving this world without ever once improving some one else's life. Dh said he did improve some one else's life - after he had two kids he left them all!

So he added two people to the population had little to nothing to do with their raising.....

Just sad. I make it a point in my life that on as many days as I can manage some ones day or life is a little better because I was in it.

Yes.
I saw a plane crash. Found the plane and all that was left was the man's legs from the knee down and his head was on the passengers seat and only had the eyeballs.

Talk about nightmares.
