Anyone experienced in Mauve Orpingtons?

To get all mauve chicks both parents would have to be chocolate and one of them also splash.
The last chick isn't anything I'd expect out of any mauve type breeding.

That might be on me, one of my own chicken’s eggs hatched with them. That’s probably it.

I just looked it up, it does! I bought Mauve Orpington eggs from a farm but that definitely wasn’t mauve so I was so clueless. Thank you!

They’re so pretty . I’m obsessed with all the Orpington colors at the moment. I’ve got 3 lavenders

Eye color changes as they get older.

Random EE example, but you can see most start out blue and shift over to gold/brown as they age. Blue is not really a eye color you see in chickens but I suppose it can happen. I'm sure she’ll grow out of it though.
