Anyone experienced with buff ducks?

Really any picture I have taken or seen doesn't even really show what they look like most of the time. They don't seem to get the excitement that fans of other ducks get. I used to have a lot of buffs, there so pretty and very nice. And reletivley quiet too, though they can be noisy sometimes. Just lost my last buff to a snapper turtle though.
