anyone feed their dog raw eggs?

Our dogs always beg for eggs when they see us collecting. They usually get a few a week, just tossed into their food bowls so that they break. They eat them shells and all.

my dogs eat shells and all, one time i collected eggs and my one dog ate a whole dozen

All I got to do is yell "anyone want an egg" and they come running. I just crack it and give it to them.

My dusty is having eggs for breakfast this morning but I'm going to cook them a little since he's a lhasa and gets it in his beard too.

i dont do it on purpose but my chocolate lab gets into my coop sometimes and steals an egg or 2 they do make her coat rly shiny though and we have enough to go around 5eggs a day in winter for a family of 3 that barely eats eggs i just got chickens cuz i like to have pets not many ppl have not for eggs or meat so if the dog steals an egg idc

The cats love raw eggs.I give them the cracked one's over their dry food and sometimes just plain in the bowl and they lap it up.

Yep--I feed surplus eggs raw to both the dogs and the cats. I've trained the dogs to bite down and break the shell themselves, because none of my hens are free-range, so neither of my dogs will be accused of egg-theft.

Yep - if I'm outside with eggs, I'll just give my girl the egg in her mouth and she'll go find somewhere to try open it

She'll roll and roll and roll till it cracks then she licks it up and eats the shell!

if I'm inside I crack it into a dish or she'd mess on the carpet or something.

I don't, mainly because I don't want to teach them to become egg suckers.
