Hi,
I am looking to buy Industrial Hemp Bedding for our coop for the deep litter system. It seems to be a great option for bedding as it has high absorbency, minimal dust, great odor control and biodegradable. However, there aren't any local stores that I am aware of that carries it. Shipping cost is equivalent to the cost of each bale unless buying in a pallet or in greater quantity. I wonder if anyone in the Bay Area is also interested to get hemp bedding. If so, we can get the hemp together to share the cost for shipping. If we have enough bags for a pallet, the shipping cost is a lot cheaper. I don't mind coordinating the purchase and distributing but you will need to pick up the hemp from my place in San Jose, CA. Would need to get the hemp asap. Thanks!
