Anyone from Kansas

We just got started getting really into the chicken breeding this year. We got our Marans out of Ray Valentine and Bev.

We have:

Copper Blue Marans
Blue Marans
Copper Black Marans
Black Marans
Splash Marans
Splash Cochins
Blue Cochins
Welsummers
Ameraucanas

Plus a big mixed flock of laying chickens.

So, any other breeders in Kansas?

I'm in central Kansas...never really been a breeder just always had a laying flock, but I'm moving in that direction. I'm going to focus on my Marans, BLRWs, and Blue/Black/Splash Orps and BBS Wyandottes.

Hello All

I'm from southeast Kansas born and raised. I'm going to be graduating from college and getting married soon and moving to southwest Missouri.

Before my college days I raised every kind of cochin I could find. I've raised old english and polish also.
I always kept a large variety of pigeons, ducks, and geese.

Now I mainly raise wild ducks and pheasants, but still dabble in some chickens.
