Well i just thought i would stop in and say hi i am in Lebanon MO. Been here for about 5 years now and loving living in the ozarks.

Bubba's Cat House is the one I know. We used to go up to Hannibal to eat there and shop at Walmart when we lived in Perry briefly about 8 years ago. Great jambalya!!!

Hello I am new and also from Missouri, I live in NE Missouri. in Glenwood that's 6 miles south of Iowa line and 25 miles north of Kirksville. I got lots of critters, including my husband.

I came across this site while looking for pictures of chicken breeds to figure out what kind of chickens we ended up with. Looks like a great forum to be part of. Viewed some of the coops they are really some very creative. Sorry I hadn't taken photos of the process of my husband building ours, he did a great job. Just got our chickens a week ago, we have had our Rouen ducks for a year, our female just died 3 weeks ago.

why? She had left us with 8 eights in the nest they are on day 20 in the incubator. 1 of them has discolored I wonder if it has gone bad? Has anyone had this happen? We tried to hatch some eggs last year and 1 exploded in the incubator, what a mess. So I am hoping to avoid this again. Anyone got a suggestion what to do with this discolored egg? Thanks for letting me cluck on through.

My oldest son lives in Purdy and has a beautiful Speckled Sussex rooster that is just under a year old. It was generously given to me as part of a trio by Insiderart when I visited SW Missouri last summer. Unfortunately the hens have come up missing and if there is someone who would like a very gentle rooster please contact me. My son travels alot all over the state and might be able to deliver it to you.
