Anyone from Summerville, SC area....need moving advice!!!

My husband's job is relocating him to Summerville, SC and we have been looking at houses a lot. The problem is that most houses seem to be in subdivisions with HOA's. most hoa do not allow poultry and I have 6 hens. Can anyone give me advice on nice areas to look into that doesn't have restrictive hoa? I'm really needing help, I'm not familiar with the area and 8 hours away until the move.

Hi! I see this was written more than 3 years ago, but I am wondering, did you find any good area?? I am exactly in the same situation, looking at homes in summerville, ( except we have only 4 hens)
