Anyone get white leghorns from MPC?

Keep in mind I am a first time chicken owner so you might need to take my thoughts with a grain of salt, but I think their being friendly or not has mostly to do with how much time is spent with them as they are growing up. Yes, their basic personality is there no matter what and some leghorns are just more stand offish than others no matter how much time you spend with them but spending a lot of time with them helps make them all friendlier/calmer. We also have barred rocks, polish, and silkies and admittedly all of those breeds are calmer than the leghorns but our leghorns are not flighty like I figured they were gonna be based on some descriptions I've read about them.

Well, the WLHs I posted about earlier in this thread are now 8 weeks old. All are doing very well and are quite friendly. I haven't spent as much time with this group, but I don't see any difference in their behavior from any other chicken we have ever had. No bald spots, no pecking, will approach our hands for treats, etc. I'm definitely still LOVING the eggs my older girls are providing. What an amazing breed. We sometimes play a game at our house where we pick out our top 5 chickens (if we had to limit ourselves to five) and our oldest Leghorn, Lucy, always makes the cut for both of us. We will always have Leghorns in our flock.

If you want more than a few chicks, and don't care what you get, MPC usually has a good sale at the end of the summer. I mention this because I've gotten the mixed assortment twice, and both times ended up with a fair number of white leghorns.
